Explore the Road to Hana in a completely unique way. Similar to our Classic Road to Hana Tour, you'll drive the 64.4-mile stretch of Hana Highway from the town of Paia to Hana. However, instead of returning the way you came, you’ll complete a counterclockwise loop around the island discovering the rarely explored backside from Hana.
Here are just a few of the fun things you can do on the tour!

The Loop Road to Hana is one of Maui's most epic road trips, and with a little planning, you can still enjoy the full adventure! 🌺
There’s currently scheduled road work on Piʻilani Highway (Hwy 31) between Kaupo and Kipahulu on weekdays (Monday–Friday) from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Schedules can change, so before you head out, be sure to check the latest road conditions, timing tips, and updates on the MauiCounty.gov website.
If you're driving the Loop Road to Hana, the full loop is open as usual on weekends. On weekdays, many travelers can still complete the loop—it all depends on when you reach the work zone. An early start gives you the best chance of enjoying the full route without interruption.
