We were planning on doing the road to Hana and were told service is really bad pretty much non existent on the road, we looked into a tour but didn’t want to cram in with other people. We found out about the shaka guide and are so glad we did! You can download the tour prior to heading out so you have full directions and details throughout the drive. Not only does it tell you all the spots to go and some knowledge about the spots you get a bunch of information and storytelling of Hawaii! There’s also an option to play background music throughout the tour to keep the aloha vibes! Without a doubt best purchase for this drive if you want to skip the tour bus mess.

100% worth every penny for this app. It was as if the person was in the car with us. Loved how if you stopped it knew where you were and picked right back up and when it was time to turn around it knew we were headed back. The music and stories about Hawaii in-between stops was a great added bonus. Don’t know that our road to Hana would have gone so well without it.

We’ve been a fan of Shaka Tours for years starting with Road to Hana that was recommended by a friend. This time around we were in Utah and did Arches, Canyonlands, La Sal Mountain Loop, Capitol Reef, Bryce Canyon, Grand Canyon - North Rim AND parts of Zion National Park!! There would have been more but I forgot about other tours I downloaded!! Southern Utah is covered!! Had a great time touring at our own pace. The stop information was very helpful, especially when it came to type and length of hikes. Wish I was better prepared for Zion…we ended up renting bikes there, so didn’t utilize that part of the tour, though we did have it on the way in. Highly recommend this tour, great package deals to download multiple tours at once…great idea for big vacations!!

We used this for Sedona and the Grand Canyon and it gave us so many helpful tips and wonderful information we never would have known without it. So happy to have found Shaka Guide and will definitely use it again.
