A stunning autumn sunrise scene along the pathway around Constitution Gardens pond on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. A gravel walkway curves alongside the calm reflecting water, bordered by a low rope fence. Vibrant red and orange fall foliage fills the left side of the frame, while large weeping willow trees draped in green anchor the center. The Washington Monument is silhouetted against a golden, glowing sky on the right, its reflection shimmering in the still pond below. A duck floats quietly on the water's surface.

The circular neoclassical white marble domed temple stands on a raised stepped base, surrounded by a lush green lawn. The open-air rotunda features tall fluted columns and a weathered domed roof, with the partial inscription "World War — A Memorial To" visible along the frieze. Mature trees — some bare, some beginning to leaf out — and neatly trimmed evergreen shrubs frame the monument on all sides under a pale blue sky.
A close-up view of "The Three Soldiers" bronze statue by Frederick Hart near the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C., photographed against a vivid backdrop of autumn foliage in orange, red, and gold. The highly detailed sculpture depicts three young soldiers in Vietnam-era combat gear standing together — one holding an M16 rifle raised over his shoulder with an ammunition belt across his chest, the center figure gazing upward with an open vest and dog tags, and the third looking to the side with a weapon at his side. The warm fall colors create a striking contrast with the dark bronze figures.

Yes, you can join along the route at any point that works for you.

Shaka Guide isn’t just about getting from point A to point B — it’s like having a tour guide in your car, sharing stories and local insights as you drive. Unlike other navigation apps, we’ve planned the route for you, so instead of focusing on directions, you can focus on the experience. This means you can’t customize the route, but that’s kind of the point. You’re still in control though, you can skip stops, go at your own pace, and explore freely. It’s not just about getting there; it’s about enjoying the journey.

Still have questions? Send us an email at aloha@shakaguide.com or give us a call at (808) 201-8138.

Think of us as your personal tour guide in an app. Our tours provide everything a guided tour does, but with the freedom to explore on your terms. Here’s how it works:

  • GPS triggers audio narration to play automatically as you drive or walk. Listen to stories, get local insights, visit must-see stops and get turn-by-turn navigation.
  • The app works offline so even with spotty service we’ll get you where you need to go.

Pretty cool huh? We think so! Check out our tours and let’s explore together.

I used this app twice. First when I went to Oahu with my wife in 2022, we did the Grand Circle Island Tour, it was Amazing, very memorable. Today in 2026, we came back to Oahu with my 4 kids, and we did Legendary North Shore Loop, everyone got a good time. My kids said they had fun and will remember this trip forever. Thank you for making this app.

We used the guide today on the island tour and I must say we are totally impressed. Amazing narration, directions were on point and it was easy to add stops to our itinerary and skip those which did not appeal to us. Unfortunately we were delayed and missed a couple things due to their being closed but I would recommend this to anyone touring the island. Best $20 we spent in Hawaii!

Love this app! Having your own private tour guide right in your car. We have been traveling the Big 5 in Utah, and it has been exceptional!

We used Shaka many, many years ago on Maui and never forgot how wonderful it was. Some years later we visited Kauai and new Shaka wouldn't let us down. Of course, it was perfect. Now we're on a trip to Denver and checked out what Shaka had to offer. Rocky Mountain National Park!!! It didn't disappoint. Great narration, nice interim music, fun historical facts. I felt bad for everyone else who was just driving up the road without the benefit of what we were hearing. We LOVE Shaka Guide!

We used the Shaka Guide for our Hawaii vacation and absolutely loved it. The audio tours are very informative and entertaining and the music selection is fun and relaxing. Using your gps location to guide you to interesting stops while sharing local history and fun storytelling is brilliant. I especially appreciated the way it guided us to the starting point of the tour from our hotel. The helpful tips about where to fill up with gas, stop for food and restrooms was also very helpful. Well worth the price and would highly recommend. Especially if driving the Road to Hana.

We first used this app in Kauai in Jun 2026 it was a lot of fun and we learned a lot. We are looking forward to using Shaka Guides wherever they are available. Keep up the great work.

We love Shaka Guide! We started using it in Maui years ago and just used it again in some of Utah’s Mighty 5. Well worth the price. It’s so easy, informative and entertaining. It’s loaded with suggestions on what to see and what to skip depending on your time constraints. Just sit back and enjoy. You don’t have to be reading about what you’re looking at or guessing at what you’re seeing. It gives you the history, geology and back stores to everything. I’m sure you’ll love it as much as our whole family does!
