Here are just a few of the fun things you can do on the tour!

• Explore Bear Gulch Day Use Area, one of the park's most popular destinations
• Hike the Moses Spring and Rim Trail Loop through dramatic rock formations and scenic overlooks
• Discover the Balconies Cave and Cliffs Loop, featuring talus caves and rugged canyon scenery
• Look for California condors soaring above the park's rocky peaks
• Learn about the unusual geology that created Pinnacles National Park

Yes, you can join along the route at any point that works for you.

Shaka Guide isn’t just about getting from point A to point B — it’s like having a tour guide in your car, sharing stories and local insights as you drive. Unlike other navigation apps, we’ve planned the route for you, so instead of focusing on directions, you can focus on the experience. This means you can’t customize the route, but that’s kind of the point. You’re still in control though, you can skip stops, go at your own pace, and explore freely. It’s not just about getting there; it’s about enjoying the journey.

Still have questions? Send us an email at aloha@shakaguide.com or give us a call at (808) 201-8138.

Think of us as your personal tour guide in an app. Our tours provide everything a guided tour does, but with the freedom to explore on your terms. Here’s how it works:

  • GPS triggers audio narration to play automatically as you drive or walk. Listen to stories, get local insights, visit must-see stops and get turn-by-turn navigation.
  • The app works offline so even with spotty service we’ll get you where you need to go.

Pretty cool huh? We think so! Check out our tours and let’s explore together.

Wow can’t say enough about this app and how informative and helpful it was and made our trip so much better.

Honestly, we would’ve been lost on the road to Hana without the Shaka Guide app. We actually listened to the audio during the trip home and learned a ton about Hawaii. This is a must download app if you’re thinking about doing the road to Hana, or any other trip for that matter.

I bought the Shaka Guide pretty much at the last minute and was able to download them quickly. I bought a pack of three and we used all three on Maui. Our entire family loved the tours, the music and everything that goes with it. Absolutely the most amazing thing to do for yourself. Very affordable and 100% necessary. Downloading them while we were at our hotel was genius and if we ever go back, we’ll use this again. Very highly recommended and much respect to the creators and contributors! 🌺🌈🌸 Mahalo & Aloha!

Yesterday was the first time trying one of these tours. It was excellent! Not only does it take you to spots you wouldn’t otherwise likely consider the narration throughout the whole tour, there and back is very interesting. Highly recommended!

Loved the tour but it would have helped to know many of the places, especially some of the water falls, close early at the beginning of the tour so you could plan accordingly. Also would have helped to know that there is both an entry/parking fee and a person fee at some of the attractions—-and they aren’t all that cheap.

We had an amazing time using the Shaka app in Oahu. The stories and the views.

We’ve used the Shaka Guide for Maui Road to Hana, and the Rocky Mountain National Park, and they never disappoint. Now that we’ve done the Yellowstone National Park tour and Grand Teton with our family of four, we’re even more impressed. What we love most are the stories—they’re engaging, informative, and keep everyone interested (including the kids). The directions are excellent: clear, timely, and practical. We especially appreciated the guidance for every stop plus the helpful tips on bathrooms. It made navigating the park so much easier and less stressful. Highly recommend for families exploring Yellowstone (or any of their other tours). We’ll keep using Shaka Guide on future trips!

Enjoy using this app. Have use it at another National Park and like the precise directions and information it gives you. I highly recommend using this app for your travels in your National Parks travel plans. Has nice music playing while traveling between stops or information.
