Show MoreFabulous audio travel guides! Now covers the Four Corners/Great Circle. Just did a 2 1/2 week tour of many parks (Zion, Bryce Canyon, Grand Staircase/Escalante, Capital Reef, Goblin Valley, Arches, Canyonlands, Monument Valley (and the roads to/from), and Grand Canyon (South). Shaka Guide had audio tours for all of them and more! They all worked excellently on my Android phone and Honda sound system (also on park shuttles!). Gave us countless helpful tips/sights we would have missed.
Timothy Fitzhugh | 1 month ago | AndroidWe used Shaka guide in Hawaii for road to Hana and gave it a try for Bryce. Loved it as much as the Hana tour. Normally parks have signs explaining certain aspects of wildlife, history, or things to look for at viewpoints but Bryce didn’t have any of that info posted. Listening to the tour while driving was awesome! It explained different walkways, hikes, wildlife, history, founder of Bryce etc. Loved it. Also I had a slight mishap with cell service and ended up paying for the tour twice. Super quick email response and a no-hassle refund for the second purchase. Most companies wouldn’t have even responded or cared about my mistake, so thank you! I will be recommending and using Shaka guide again
Kiskapuppy | 1 month ago | iOSMy wife and I first used this app in 2017 during our honeymoon in Kauai and it was super helpful and entertaining. Now in 2026 we’re touring all 5 national parks in Utah and it’s as good as I remember. This will be a staple of all future trips.
JulietAlphaSierra | 3 months ago | iOSAbsolutely a must have for the parks so far! Loved it and highly recommend using for all Utah parks!
US indian foodie | 3 months ago | iOSThis was a fantastic way to tour Bryce Canyon. I loved learning about the history of the canyon along with the “Legend People” told by the Paiute. The hoodoos are a must see!
Ggoodwine | 3 months ago | iOSVery informative and accurate GPS tracking. We did the Utah loop and Escalante & Bypass 12 tour. You have a personal tour guide that goes on at your pace. Looking forward to many more trips with shaka guide. Well worth the money. We enjoyed uncle Shaka voice more than the female narrator. The female voice felt like little kids story telling with too much animation. Our teenage kids couldn’t stand it. Adults had the same opinion but not as strong as teenage kids. Development team could work on features where users can choose a narrator for a specific tour. Shouldn’t be too difficult with AI tools😉.
Rollypollymama | 5 months ago | iOSWe used Shaka guide for Hawái and Utah and it was amazing. Shaka guide added insight about landmarks that we passed and really made us immersed in the expierence.
Briicabtthunk | 8 months ago | iOSUsed this for Bryce Canyon and Scenic Byway 12, and it was a game changer. I would’ve absolutely missed half the stops if it wasn’t for the app guidance. Definitely using this for all future roadtrips.
Thegadgetfish | 8 months ago | iOSWe started with Shaka on The Big Island… then Kauai, Maui, and Oahu. Then Utah Mighty Five , Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, Glacier, etc. Shaka is the formula for us & a great trip. I take care of the lodging and travel while Shaka takes care of (most of 😁) the on-site itinerary again and again. Can’t wait to see where we all go next.
Cap'n Buckeye | 11 months ago | iOSWe discovered Shaka in Kauai and enjoyed everything about it, we have done Maui and the big Island and just started in Utah and Wyoming. I recommend this to everyone I talk to about road trips. The tours are informative, fun and keep the pace up for the day. Having different options and owning the tours is great. If we miss something, we can always do the tour again!
