Take an optional side trip -- don't worry, we'll guide you -- to Ka Lae (South Point) for cliff jumping and a hike to a green sand beach. End the day at Mauna Kea, the tallest mountain in Hawaii, for stargazing.

Love the Shaka Guide! We have used it in Hawaii and Yellowstone and it's a fantastic way to see these places while learning some history and fun facts, and knowing which stops to enjoy, and which to skip! Also tips for great food. We stopped at Da Bread Stand today just south of Kona and oh my! Wouldn't have stopped without the tip from Shaka Guide, and SO glad we did!

I first used it for The Road to Hana and came back today to use it for The Big Island South Loop and Hawaii's Volcano National Park. I learned so much and had a blast. I trust the guide completely and if he says "this is a can't miss viewing spot" I will get out and check it out! I like that they give you turn by turn directions so you don't need any outside GPS navigation. The music between highlights is the perfect mood for Hawaii adventures.
