Would buy again! We knew we wanted to drive the road to Hana but it was a bit overwhelming to plan out without missing key stops. Got stuck in an Instagram hole and almost decided not to go. That’s when we found the Shaka guide. It made the whole experience much easier to navigate - guiding us to key stops, sharing pro tips, history, and even keeping us on schedule. Turn on the gps option. Great buy!

The Shaka Guide is an excellent audito tour guide and shows all the wonderful points in the various trips. I used Shaka Guide for Road to Hāna, Haleakalā National Park and Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. It will take you to different points and tell you the details. It gives you step by step directions to view each and every point and also suggests any points that you could give a miss or are a must do. It really helped us during these 3 trips.

We used Shaka on our vacation to Maui and Kauai based on the recommendation of our travel agent. Wow! We had never heard of Shaka before! We have been missing out! This was a great asset to our trip!

Highly recommend this app for first timers or return riders. Downloaded it kind of last second for road to Hana and the whole car really enjoyed the tips and history it gave. I think it gave us a better trip than we could’ve planned on our own. Even when we go back, I think we’ll play it again!

We would have missed a lot of what we were hoping to see on our first trip to Maui. We used both the West Coast tour and the classic road to Hana tour and we were thrilled with both of them and can’t wait to use more tours on Oahu.

Used the shake guide for the Road to Hana and it was perfect! The navigation was great when driving the island with no service and the narration made the trip so much fun. Hope to try another tour one day but recommend if you’re looking for guided driving tours.

We’ve been to Kauai many times and thought we knew it well. The Shaka guided tours took us to new sites and gave us very interesting Hawaiian history along the way. We love the ability to go at our own pace, spending more or less time at locations vs the schedules of much higher priced guided bus tours. We have the Kauai bundle as well as tours covering all of Oahu and the Maui Road to Hanna. 5 stars for customer service as well. We had an issue with the download to a second, backup phone. I chatted from the app and had immediate contact with a real person. Solved in 2 minutes. Thank you Shaka!!
