WOW! Wowowow… Used for the Road to Hana today. It was like the guide was in my car. He predicted rain literally the moment it started raining… he mentioned the 11:45am test tsunami alarm 30 seconds after I heard it in person… the history lesson on the way down the mountain is like listening to a podcast… the music is amazing. I can tell how much effort went into this. MAHALO 🤙

Great way to travel the road to Hana

I researched several apps to help us explore the area and decided to go with Shaka. It was one of the best decisions we made! The narrator's voice was calm, friendly, and enjoyable to listen to throughout the drive. The app pointed out every worthwhile stop along the route, explained why each one was worth visiting, and kept us oriented the entire time. We drove the full route to hike to the stunning 400-foot waterfall, and the app guided us there and back without a hitch. It truly enhanced our experience and made sure we didn't miss a thing. I highly recommend it—this app is a must-have!

I purchased this app because of the good reviews I read. It surpassed my expectations! It literally feels like someone is sitting in your car guiding you. I feel without this app I would’ve missed out on so many points of interest!

Great tour guide

We bought the Maui bundle. It was our first time driving to Hana but we didn't want to go with a tour. I read that Shaka Guide was highly recommended if you want to go at your own pace. They help you every step of the way and you can skip places if you don't feel like it. The stories and background music was really great! We didn't get bored and we learned a lot about Hana and Maui in general. The bundle also comes with the Haleakala tour and it was also very helpful. I highly recommend this app if you want to do DIY tour in Maui. The Maui bundle is a great deal.

Love this guide!

We purchased a Hawaii pack after hearing good things about Shaka Guides. We were not disappointed - if anything they over delivered. Great info on both a North Shore Oahu and the Maui Road to Hana tours. Will be using it a few more times on this vacation and will definitely check it out when we go to national parks. Great job Shaka team!

Great customer service

The tour itself was great! It talked a lot about the history along the way and gave cool facts. I loved that it automatically played as you went along and I enjoyed all the stops it took us on. I did have an issue with a family sharing feature when signing up but the customer service team helped me a lot and responded quickly. Would definitely recommend this app if you are looks for a self-guided tour for your Road to Hana trip!

Best $25 spent

This is my 3rd time surviving the road to Hana and it was the best yet! I loved that this guide not only told you the best places to stop but also gave history, stories and fun facts along the way. Uncle Shaka was the best tour guide!

If you’re not downloading the app and buying the tour of the Road to Hana, you are wasting your time

This was, by far, the best audio tour I have ever utilized. Literally everyone in my family, from age 6 to age 70, could not get over how entertaining and informative it was. Taking the Road to Hana was a life-changing experience, and to be quite honest, the audio tour by Shaka Guide truly was the spice that made it stand out. It is so very much worth the money. They should be charging more! You will learn, you will laugh, you will be a different person by the end of it.
