So many good things about this guide! Saved a bunch of arguments with my wife about where to stop or where to go. It made the drive relaxing instead of nerve wracking. It’s almost like a guided meditation. There was a talk toward the beginning that helps put you in the right mental state for the drive and it is really good at putting you at ease like if a parking lot is full and what’s the best course of action. (Often it’s: “we have to skip this but there’s so much more ahead”) It discusses the culture of the local people and how to interact, there is nice Hawaiian music that also plays. The app knows what time it is and lets you know what you still have time to do and it lets you know in the most soothing way. The history lesson on the drive back had us thoroughly engaged as well! First time writing a review on an app ever- I felt like I needed to!

I haven’t tried all the other tours but I have to say I truly enjoyed the Road to Hana Tour. It does take all day and requires a lot of driving but the narrator gives good advice and great stops along the way. I truly felt like I saw all the main stops in Maui. I definitely plan to use this app for other tours around the US.

We used Shaka Guide to take the road to Hana tour, and it was great! The app uses your GPS location to give you information about points of interest, where to and where not to stop, all for a fraction of the cost of a curated tour on a mini bus. I highly recommend this app!

Is there a fee for the battlefield?

No, the battlefield itself is free to visit. However, there is a separate charge for the museum, film, and Cyclorama parts of the visitor center.

What is the “Cyclorama”?

The Gettysburg Cyclorama is a massive 360-degree painting that vividly depicts Pickett’s Charge, immersing visitors in the battle with dramatic light and sound effects at the Gettysburg National Military Park Visitor Center.

How many monuments are on the battlefield?

There are approximately 1,328 monuments, markers and memorials at Gettysburg National Military Park.

What is an Audio Tour Guide?

Think of us as your personal tour guide in an app. Our tours provide everything a guided tour does, but with the freedom to explore on your terms. Here’s how it works:

  • GPS triggers audio narration to play automatically as you drive or walk.
  • Listen to stories, get local insights, visit must-see stops and get turn-by-turn navigation.
