A traditional multi-tiered Japanese stone pagoda lantern stands along the bank of the Tidal Basin in Washington, D.C., during peak cherry blossom season. Pink and white cherry blossom branches arch overhead on both sides, framing the scene. The Washington Monument rises across the calm blue water in the background under a vivid blue sky.
