What should I budget for the Wind Cave Tour?
There is no fee to enter Wind Cave National Park itself, but the individual cave tours require the purchase of a ticket. That means you can explore all of the trails, forests, historic buildings, and prairie lands above ground, and the museum and gift shop inside the Visitor Center for free.Cave tours are first-come, first-served, and fees vary. Prior reservations aren’t necessary, but are recommended. They can be made here
What are the park hours for the Wind Cave Tour?
The tour stops have seasonal hours of operation. The site’s facilities and restaurants also have varying hours of operation.Wind Cave Visitor Center: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PMExtended Summer Hours (roughly April 6–Sept 30): Typically extended to as late as 6:00 PMTrails & stops are always open.
Can I take the Wind Cave Tour in the opposite direction?
The driving tour is linear. It’s suggested that the walking tour follows the path in a clockwise direction, but could go in a counterclockwise direction as well. 
Can I join the Wind Cave Tour along the route?
Yes, you can join along the route.
