Built in 1883 by Elijah Cutler Behunin, this small sandstone cabin housed a family of 15 with most of the children sleeping outdoors. If you look behind the cabin you’ll see a large alcove in the cliff - that’s where the boys would have slept. The Behunins only stayed in this cabin a year before moving on after their crops were washed away by floods.
