This tour has four starting points: West–Rt 120 near Buck Meadows/Groveland Ranger District Office, coming from Groveland, CAWest–Rt 140 Near Yosemite Bug Rustic Mtn Resort, coming from Mariposa, CASouth–Route 41 intersection with Rd 222, north of Oakhurst, CAEast–Rt 190 at the intersection with US-395, coming from Lee Vining, CAThere are a total of 30 stops on this tour. The park is open 24/7In Yosemite Village:The Yosemite Valley Visitor Center is open 9-5 dailyYosemite Museum 10 am-3 pm closed Monday and TuesdayThe Hetch Hetchy gate has a staggered seasonal schedule. Visit the NPS website for hours.  The Mariposa Grove shuttle operates seasonally. In the summer from 8 am-7 pm, and fall from 8 am-5:30 pm dailyTuolumne Meadows Visitor Center is open seasonally from 9 am-5 pm daily
Can I join the Yosemite National Park Tour in route?
Yes! Feel free to join the tour along the route. Just make sure that you follow the numbers in chronological order from where you are starting from. If you don’t begin at one of the tour starting points you’ll miss a few stories, but you’ll still have a great experience.
Can I take the Yosemite National Park Tour in the opposite direction?
Yes, this tour is available in any direction. Regardless of which starting point you begin the tour at or the direction you travel you’ll have access to the tour - just follow the route in chronological order.
