Boston Freedom Trail Tour – Part 2 (Charlestown: Bunker Hill & USS Constitution). This is Part Two of Shaka Guide’s Freedom Trail experience, continuing right where Part One leaves off in Boston’s North End. There is so much history along the Freedom Trail that we’ve split it into two parts ...
Show MoreWe used Shaka on three of the Hawaiian islands and recently purchased the National Parks collection. We wished we would have had them sooner for all the parks we already visited in years past. On the most recent trip we did the Crater Lake and Lassen Volcanic National Park tours. They were both amazing. So cool to have some history, music, and tips for good stops and hikes. Highly recommend their tours. We want to revisit some again just to listen to the tours.
cavecreek1 | 1 day ago | iOSWe love using Shaka guide with the kids. They love the stories and history and it’s split up with great music in between. The hiking/activity recommendations are spot on and take you to places you’d otherwise drive right by. We use them both on the islands and at national parks all over the mainland.
Emanuel54 | 2 weeks ago | iOSI have used shaka guide for 3 national parks and the road to hana in maui. Most of my favorite stops and attractions from the tours are places i would have never found without Shaka Guide. I recommend this to everybody i meet during the tours, and now i’m recommending it to you…. it’s so worth it.
Autumn730 | 1 month ago | iOSMy wife and I first used this app in 2017 during our honeymoon in Kauai and it was super helpful and entertaining. Now in 2026 we’re touring all 5 national parks in Utah and it’s as good as I remember. This will be a staple of all future trips.
JulietAlphaSierra | 1 month ago | iOSToday we did the Beacon Hill walking tour in Boston and plan on doing the two Freedom Trail walking tours in the next few days. Love the history the app shares and love the amount of content that is shared. Pro tip: my wife and I listen to the tour prior to going on vacation and walk the tour using google earth street view. Helps us easily identify items while on the tour and gives us ideas ahead of time to explore or try more in an area.
Daddy of GNAT | 2 months ago | iOSThis is app is amazing. Easy to work and follow. Love the stories and the information it gives you while you are driving. Can’t wait to use this app again on our next adventure!
Mimpyatt | 3 months ago | iOSI’m I. The middle of a solo road trip to several of the national parks out west. Shaka Guides have been the best companion! Turn for turn directions are spot on; I know what sites are coming up without having to shuffle around a map while driving; and the stories and facts are great! Also enjoying the music on between! I highly recommend Shaka Guides to everyone, but especially solo travelers!!
- bjh - | 3 months ago | iOSThe app is constructed professionally. The guide offered practical advice to tour national parks with good recommendations of what to see and what to skip. The app has a CarPlay app so the map is easy to follow. The map lags a tiny bit so it is good to follow audio instructions for turns before the map shows the turn.
Lar28 | 3 months ago | iOSit's an amazing app. it helped me on my trip so much, it made the drive so much more interesting and gave very useful information. I used it for national parks
Daniela Becerra Gonzalez | 4 months ago | AndroidYou will not be disappointed! This was a delightful way to experience the big island. The app works off GPS so it works and gives directions even when you’re in restricted service areas. Info is accurate and incredibly helpful… turn by turn. We LOVED the Kohala tour (STUNNING VIEWS) and listening to the history behind this beautiful island (and lovely music when Uncle isn’t talking). It made the experience really special. We’ll be using this app for the rest of our time here and can’t wait to explore some National Parks on the mainland with the Shaka Guide. Thanks for a great day!

You can walk the full Freedom Trail in one day. Part One takes about three hours, and Part Two takes around two, depending on your pace and stops.

Yes! Bring a fully charged phone and a backup battery since this walking tour can drain battery power, and you won’t have access to a car charger.
