We've used Shaka for Maui Road to Hana and the Grand Canyon South Rim. Both tours were great and helped guide us through both adventures.

I was skeptical about this app at first but all the amazing reviews led me to give it a try. It did not disappoint. In my opinion, this is the ONLY way to visit national parks. The turn-by-turn directions, amazing stories and history, and suggested stops proved invaluable. I haven’t used it for Hawaii yet but can only imagine it is just as good. My husband and I wanted to make sure our boys (9 and 12) got the most out of the trip as this was our family vacation for the summer, and they had been asking to visit Yellowstone for over a year. We did a TON of research ahead of time and were stressing about what to do in what order because there are endless things to do and sights to see. It was very overwhelming. No amount of research compares to what Shaka Guide offers. This app takes the guess work out. We methodically and systematically saw all the must see locations (Old Faithful, Grand Prismatic Spring, Mammoth Hot Springs, the Roosevelt Arch, Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, Lamar Valley, etc.) and tons of hidden gems and did it all within 4.5 days! They were early days, but I feel early is the only way to do it to beat the crowds…except for Grand Prismatic Spring. That had to be midday. Note about Grand Prismatic—Don’t cheat yourself and only see it from the boardwalk. If you are able, take the Fairy Falls trail and see if from above. It is a breathtaking view and the perfect selfie opportunity for your group! ;) We never felt like we had to rush once or cut anything out of the itinerary. This trip could not have gone better. It was an amazing experience and we owe it all to Shaka Guide! Thank you so much! We will purchase this guide for all other national parks and Hawaii when we make it back there. I wish we had known about this app the first time we visited Hawaii. Thanks again, y’all are awesome!!

I called customer service and left a message. Sure enough, the man called me back and figured out that I had downloaded the wrong app! He waited with me while it downloaded Shaka app and made sure it was working properly. He was awesome!! I loved the GPS tour! Lots of information, stories, music, so fun!! Will definitely be using again in the future!!

Shaka Guide is has been great for us. First for the Big Island, we used the entire island bundle and used the tours in and around the north half of the island. A year later we used the entire island bundle for Oahu and used almost every driving tour including the around the island tour that goes clockwise and the separate one that goes counter clockwise. Next we used the Arizona bundle and took the Sedona, Grand Canyon South and Page tour. Most recently we took the Nevada bundle for Hoover Dam, Lake Mead and Red Rock Canyon. Outstanding! Shaka Guide makes touring so much better!
