High above, carved into the rock, is a subtle but fascinating formation—Pothole Arch. Unlike the towering arches that stand like gateways in the desert, this one formed from water collecting in natural depressions, slowly wearing through the sandstone until a hole emerged. It doesn’t demand attention like some of the park’s more dramatic landmarks; instead, it blends into the landscape, almost hiding in plain sight. To see it, you have to look up—a quiet reminder that some of nature’s best work isn’t always right in front of you.
