my partner & i started using shaka guide when we toured olympic national park last summer, and so we did it again for mt rainier national park this year! we were pleased to hear that the tour guide narrator was the same person as olympic because his voice is so soothing, his inflections are adorable, and his excitement got us excited! doing the guided tour helped the long drives pass by quickly, and we got to check out a lot of little sites we would have otherwise skipped. we always look forward to the tour guides every time we travel to a national park (: thanks guys!! (also shout out whoever put in the ice caves song by concerned ape in the rainier tour)

Nice guide for road trip

Excellent audio tour! Will definitely use at other locations.

We first discovered Shaka Guide when visiting Hawaii in 2022 and was excited to see many tours added, including of Olympic National Park, by the time we planned a trip there in 2025. I can’t sing the praises of this tour enough. Not only did it take the entire mental load of planning a driving tour off me, but it peppered our drive with wonderful stories and calming music. I mentioned it to several travelers we met along the way. We did the tour starting at Olympia and spent 3.5 days driving around, taking each day pretty easy. Looking forward to more Shaka guided trips in the future.

We used Shaka Guide during our vacation to Maui and it made the drive around Maui really enjoyable, interesting and informative. We ordered the Olympic National Park guide and found it interesting but not as much as the Maui version. perhaps have the ONP guide add more specific on trails, ie., length, difficulty, and strategy to avoid 2+ hr wait times at entrances. Overall it was good, and we will continue using Shaka for trips when available.

This tour guide app is one of the best I've ever used, particularly for my trips to the Road to Hana and Olympic National Park. I highly recommend it; it made both trips memorable, enjoyable, and informative.
