We’ve been a fan of Shaka Tours for years starting with Road to Hana that was recommended by a friend. This time around we were in Utah and did Arches, Canyonlands, La Sal Mountain Loop, Capitol Reef, Bryce Canyon, Grand Canyon - North Rim AND parts of Zion National Park!! There would have been more but I forgot about other tours I downloaded!! Southern Utah is covered!! Had a great time touring at our own pace. The stop information was very helpful, especially when it came to type and length of hikes. Wish I was better prepared for Zion…we ended up renting bikes there, so didn’t utilize that part of the tour, though we did have it on the way in. Highly recommend this tour, great package deals to download multiple tours at once…great idea for big vacations!!

Utah byway 12 was corny but we loved having history spicing up an otherwise boring drive. It gave awesome suggestions of offshoot adventures. Let the app do its thing and don't click on every icon like I did 🤣 the other icons are for the other direction.

We had 8 of us in a big van for our day at Arches National Park and we loved having Shaka as our guide. We were all very pleased that the tour was so informative while not having too much information or being overly chatty. We thought it made for a perfect day. We're moving on to 4 other Utah parks and are looking forward to having Shaka guide us through each one.

My wife and I first used this app in 2017 during our honeymoon in Kauai and it was super helpful and entertaining. Now in 2026 we’re touring all 5 national parks in Utah and it’s as good as I remember. This will be a staple of all future trips.

We loved almost everything about our Shaka tour of Arches, Canyonlands, and La Sal Mountain Loop. I wish I had the option on 4 1/2 stars. The guide synced well with our GPS and we got through all three parks with ease. The narrative was interesting and we learned so much about the area. The music was an added bonus. We were also pleasantly surprised by the added bonus of guidance through Dead Horse Point State Park. Our glitch was at the end of the La Sal Mountain Loop we opted for the additional stop at Courthouse Wash to see petroglyphs. Twice the guide said the stop was 1/2 mile ahead but we weren't told where to stop. Other than that the Shaka guide was great! We also used Shaka for Maui and found it to be so helpful.
