my partner & i started using shaka guide when we toured olympic national park last summer, and so we did it again for mt rainier national park this year! we were pleased to hear that the tour guide narrator was the same person as olympic because his voice is so soothing, his inflections are adorable, and his excitement got us excited! doing the guided tour helped the long drives pass by quickly, and we got to check out a lot of little sites we would have otherwise skipped. we always look forward to the tour guides every time we travel to a national park (: thanks guys!! (also shout out whoever put in the ice caves song by concerned ape in the rainier tour)

We traveled to South and North Dakota and used Shaka Guide for Mt Rushmore/Black Hills, Badlands SD and Theodore Roosevelt National Park. It was awesome and made a planning the tours simple. I am a huge researcher when it comes to trips and I loved that I could use this app to guide me along the way giving me the “stop here” or “okay to skip if you want”. There were some stops nobody else was at in the Black Hills that I may have missed without this. History lessons and music along the way were well done. All around, give this app a solid 10.

The Classic Road to Hana Tour on the Shaka Guide app was fantastic! The descriptions, stories, Hawaiian history, and local legends made the drive so much more enjoyable. The real-time GPS directions were incredibly accurate and worked perfectly even with little to no cell reception. It felt like having a local guide with us the entire way. Highly recommend for anyone driving the Road to Hana!

I’ve lived near Lake Tahoe and have since visited every year and this is the first time buying the Shaka guide around the lake. Wow, what a treat! Learned a few new things and tips along the drive.

This is the third time I’ve used the Shaka Guide. Twice on Kauai and once on Ohau. The tours are easy to follow, great history and descriptions of sites! Thanks to Shaka we’ve seen places none of the other tours offer and always at our pace and we can veer off the tour to see something and then come right back to it!! Truly the best way to experience the Islands.

This made the road to Hana incredibly easy. This would’ve been very difficult to do without the Shaka Guide GPS guidance. My husband and I joked all day long that it was the best $25 to spend. Otherwise we would’ve been stressed about where we needed to go, and which stops to skip, resulting in fights. Shaka is cheaper than marriage counseling or divorce.
