We first found out about Shaka Guide before our trip to Maui a couple years ago. From our 10-year-olds up to our 18-year-olds and ourselves, we all really enjoyed the guide, commentary, etc for our trip to Maui. Fast forward to last summer and we went to Glacier national Park and my son said it would be cool if there was a Shaka Guide for here… i’m glad we looked because we bought that Parks tour and it was equally informative and entertaining. This morning, I purchased Big Bend National Park, we used it for the Ross Maxwell Scenic Drive today and will use it again tomorrow in the park. This really is one of the best apps! The whole family loves it.

Really enjoyed the narration of things to do mixed in with history and information. Would have missed out on many of our trips highlights. We had done the Road to Hana Shaka guide and loved it so tried this one above others. You won’t be disappointed! The only thing better would be more information and stories for the drive back.

I used the Shaka Guide for the Tour of Hana Maui so I hoped that the Hilo one would be good too. It is great information and beautiful music. The tour really made our trip special. Absolutely recommend this tour for any Hawaii driving adventure!!

Purchased the Hawaiian Package and used it for the first time today on a driving tour of Oahu! Couldn’t believe how easy, fun and informative Shaka guide was to use. Looking forward to more adventures ahead !

We used the Shaka Guide for the Road to Hana. The best! You get awesome music and a nice guy, with a pleasant voice, letting you know what there is to do at every turn. You also get a lovely history lesson of the Hawaiian Islands. Totally recommend.

This trip can be overwhelming because there are so many stops, so much history, so many twists & turns, and so much to know to keep from upsetting local culture, to enjoy the scenery, food & history of the land & to get the most out of our day trip on the Road to Hana…and the Shaka Guide was the perfect companion to provide all the necessary information. We chose to do the classic route and needed to make it to the Black Sand Beach to make our reservation so we listened as we made our way through the route so we could make choices of where we wanted to stop on the way back. The music was well chosen, the narration was informative and friendly, and we’re amazed by how the narration aligned with our location at every point of the trip even when we all lost cell reception. This is a must-have for your Road to Hana trip. I wish we had the one for HaleakalĀ when we went to watch the sunset the evening prior to driving the Road to Hana.
