Seriously the best money we spent our whole vacation. Worth EVERY penny! I have paid for personal tour guides all around the world at different famous locations. This felt like you had your own personal Tour Guide for the entire day! I love how the app make sure that you’re listening to the right message at the right time and place! The GPS knows where you are and when! Brilliant! Cute & fun narration, love the Hawaiian music between messages!!

Did an overnight stay in Hana and utilized both the classic rd to Hana guide and the loop guide for the drive back in the morning. A few things did get missed, but that was likely user error. The app let us know where to go and what to do, provided a bunch of interesting historical information, and gave us nice Hawaiian music to listen to. That especially came in handy when we lost service on the road. 5 stars absolutely recommend. Bought the tour bundle and it was worth every penny.

Updating a previous review. We tried three tours on Oahu. On the first driving tour, the app stopped following the route, and we had to update it by hand at each focal point. It was very frustrating. It started out OK. But, once we made a stop and paused the app, it never fully synced again. However, when we took the second driving tour, it worked perfectly. All the things that didn’t work the first time worked the second time. I’m glad we gave it a second chance, because we were pretty irritated with the first attempt. We also tried a walking tour, and that didn’t work out too well. This thing relies on GPS to move to the next stop on the tour. It didn’t seem to work that well when we walked. We did exactly what the tour told us to do, but it kept repeating the previous stop and not moving onto the next stop. We like the driving tours, and we like the concept. Other than the one bad experience, it seemed to work well….. once you get the hang of it. One other comment. If you miss a turn, you are on your own. It does not do anything to get you back on the correct route.

Shaka Guide was a LIFESAVER. The audio is informative and fun (without being overwhelming) and the step by step directions in areas with no cell service (and oftentimes no clear signs!) made our experience wonderful. Cannot recommend enough!

Road to Hana Audio Guide was amazing. The guide provided a nice run down of the hawaii history on the way down.

A must-have for the Road to Hana The Shaka Guide – Road to Hana tour was fantastic and made the entire drive easy and enjoyable. The GPS-based narration was perfectly timed, informative, and entertaining without being distracting. It takes all the stress out of the trip by telling you where to stop, what you’re seeing, and which spots are actually worth your time. The local stories and humor added personality and made the drive feel immersive rather than overwhelming.
