Redeem or Restore Tours Purchased in the Shaka Guide App

If you purchased a tour inside the Shaka Guide app, it should show in My Stuff once the purchase is confirmed.

🔑 In-app purchases are tied to your Apple ID/Google Play account, not your email.
💡 Most common issue: Purchases not showing up? The app needs a refresh, or the device is signed into a different Apple ID or Google account than the one used to purchase.

Step 1: Check My Stuff

  1. Open the Shaka Guide app

  2. Sign in (or create an account)

  3. Go to My Stuff

  4. Download your tour(s) on WiFi before your trip

Step 2: Restore your in-app purchase

  1. In the app, tap Support

  2. Tap Retrieve Purchases or Restore Purchases

  3. Return to My Stuff and check again

If you still don’t see your tour(s)

Try these in order:

  1. Sign out, then sign back in

  2. Confirm you’re using the same store account:

    • iPhone: the Apple ID on the device should match the one that purchased

    • Android: the Google account on the device should match the one that purchased

  3. Update the app to the latest version (App Store or Google Play)

  4. Last resort: delete the app, reinstall the latest version, sign in again, then try Retrieve Purchases / Restore Purchases again
