This was an absolutely WONDERFUL guide to the road to Hana. The stories, the directions, the background… I really appreciate that it gave time checks, where there were restrooms, ALL OF THE THINGS! I’ve never rated an app before but I had to make sure I got on here and gave this five stars because WOW!

This app is so helpful! The gps, all of the audio information and music in between. It’s perfect!

Definitely saves you the trouble of researching stops, and gives you an excellent history of Maui on the long trip back. 10/10 don’t go without this app!

We love this app, and And referred to all our friends visiting the islands all the time. Recently, we rented a Toyota minivan and when we tried to link the app to the Bluetooth entertainment system we could not adjust the volume of the app. This was a little annoying, but eventually, we linked our phone to our personal speaker that we brought to play music on the beach. I’ve been using this app for over five years and learn something new each time.

After a little confusion at the start of the route (GPS triggered audio events really do start at mile marker 0 which is not where the marked route starts), this app became indispensable. While the guide, Uncle Shaka is a little cheesy at times, there's a delightful mixture of facts, fun, history, and thoughtful commentary. An understated but extremely valuable feature of the app is the content for the return trip. I was exhausted from the hike but the music and history made the trip go so easily. Also appreciated was the music that extended past the end of the route, ending the trip in the perfect way.
