We loved the Road to Hāna audio tour! We would highly recommend it!!! The narrative was very interesting, the direction was spot on and we enjoyed the music! Well worth the purchase!!

I recommend anyone visiting the Hawaii islands to download the Shaka Tours. Better than bus tours because you can do it on your time. They are informative and entertaining. I’ve never been disappointed.

Thank you for all the fun facts. I learned a bunch from it and thank you for being kind. Just like telling us where all the water falls are and parking and even the bathrooms. I learned a lot about the history of Hawaii. From dad-this guided tour made the entire experience better. My kids all loved it. I couldn’t have have had a successful trip without this app.

Used Shaka for Big island vacation. Many good things to say. Glad i purchased. 3 big downsides: 1. Way too much nonsense about ancient pagan gods. 2. Missing basic facts about volcanoes. Focus more on the major points. Active/inactive. What can tourists see. Like that’s all i sort of kind of cared about. Instead i got history lessons and points on all volcanoes and back and forth with myths and facts. Confusing. 3. We chose to do our loops differently than their tours were set up Would be nice if the app could be smart enough to open and begin a new tour if i crossed the boundaries into that second tour. Overall, good purchase. Informative and entertaining.

This is a must if you are driving the road to Hana in your own car. SUPER informative!!!

We purchased a package deal which was a great value. And since the Big Island does require A LOT of driving the Shaka tours were fantastic! We went places we wouldn’t have known about and learned so much about the history.

Would buy again! We knew we wanted to drive the road to Hana but it was a bit overwhelming to plan out without missing key stops. Got stuck in an Instagram hole and almost decided not to go. That’s when we found the Shaka guide. It made the whole experience much easier to navigate - guiding us to key stops, sharing pro tips, history, and even keeping us on schedule. Turn on the gps option. Great buy!
