We booked this audio tour guide and were admittedly a little worried that we would tire of hearing someone talk the whole time along our drive and that it wouldn’t be very flexible with stops. That was definitely not the case. It was an amazing guide with very calming Hawaiian music. We learned so much history and it was super flexible when choosing when to forgo a stop. We thoroughly enjoyed this trip and would 1000% recommend downloading this guide to help with your journey along the Road to Hana. It synced up perfectly with our navigation and helped make our trip a smooth one! We’re so glad we used this audio guide.

App was easy to use. We started on the south end and toured counter clockwise. Traffic was heavy northbound in Sedona but manageable. It took us about 11 hours to complete the trip but that included several short hikes. We saw almost everything. Would definitely recommend.

At first little nervous but Shaka takes control right away. We had amazing time following the entire Rd to Hana and back. It was as Shaka was with us. We laughed a lot, took the trip at our pace. Really appreciate the history lessons and music. Enjoyed every turn on the rd. Appreciate the nature. Highly recommend and will do it again!!

We used Shaka Guide for the Road to Hana, and I am still absolutely bewildered by the app and how it functions! Downloading this guide was the best decision that we have made on our trip. There is truly no way we would have survived the Road to Hana without it. Our phones were in SOS Mode for 99% of the trip, so we could not use our own map/navigation, but somehow the app still knew exactly where we were and what we were passing. The guide was so spot on, it was as if he was sitting in the car with us– right down to the people illegally parking by the bamboo path and trespassing on the land– the accuracy was unbelievable. We are so grateful to Shaka Guide for getting us through those winding, and sometimes treacherous, roads while feeding us information on everything from the land to the fruit stands and best places to stop for food. 100/10. I have been raving about it to our fellow tourists, and I will continue to spread the word when I hear people are coming to Maui!

Just used this for The Road to Hāna on Maui. My wife wanted to get it and I didn’t think it was necessary. I was wrong. It was well worth the price.

Directions are spot on, the history and stories along the way make the tours interesting and the Hawaiian music played really adds to the whole trip. Absolutely fantastic
