This is a must do! It made all the difference for our trip. We learned a great deal, we were alerted about the best things to see and do, and the GPS tracking was perfect. The narrator was delightful and the script was extremely well written. We enjoyed the music accompanying and in between stops. Without this tour, we would have missed the Jedediah Smith State Park and Stout Grove, which was our favorite section of the parks. Very well done, Shaka Guides. We won’t do a national park without you again, and we look forward to experiencing some of your other adventures.

Download your tour before you head out to ensure you don't have to prepay for any stops beforehand. The app was great. It told us beforehand about a place we might want to stop at and shared its history. I will be using this app again.

We did both their road to Hanā and Haleakalā Sunset tours, both were awesome!!! Last time we were on Maui we felt like there was so much to do but hard to plan and we’re not group tour people. We love to run on our own time and Shaka gives you the freedom to do that! The directions are great as is the CarPlay integration but the highlight is the stories and history you learn along the way. The music is wonderful too and not distracting as both drives are challenging in their own ways. We really left both places with a deeper understanding and some new fun facts, much more than had we just used Waze. I cannot recommend enough!!!!

My family and I used all 5 audio tours of the Big Island bundle. We just loved the information and they were all very entertaining. We highly recommend this. Next time we take a driving family vacation, we plan to see if Shaka Guide has an audio tour available.

Was very skeptical to purchase at first but so glad we did. Been through 9 national parks and the amount of information we received is amazing. We would have missed out on so many details along the way. It’s truly worth every penny.

First, and most importantly, this app is absolutely worth the $20. It’s very informative, has great stops for sightseeing and tasty food, and the GPS worked very well even in areas with little service. HOWEVER, and this is a huge however, TURN AROUND when they suggest you turn around. If you’re doing this drive, they give you the option to do a complete circle or go halfway and turn back because the road becomes “challenging.” To call the road challenging is such an understatement it feels borderline illegal. I’m a 30 year old man and literally almost started crying the drive is so frightening. It’s a narrow single lane road on the edge of a cliff with no guard rail. And it’s an actual cliff with like a 100 foot drop. If a car comes at you, one person has to reverse down the mountain until there is a spot when it can slip by you. The second half of the drive was one of the scariest experiences of my life in that I actually feared for my life. The Shaka app shouldn’t even have the option to do a full circle loop because a customer will actually die (if that hasn’t happened already). To be fair to Shaka, the app gives plenty of warnings (probably at least 5) that drive will become difficult and challenging and you should turn around if you’re an anxious driver. TURN AROUND. But otherwise, 5 stars and I would definitely recommend Shaka with this caveat.

Best $15 I’ve ever spent on a tour… hosted tours cost nearly $800, but this app guided me to all the same sites with a tour guide giving me cool facts along the way. Great value!

I was searching Google and blogs to try and figure out the best places to see in Yellowstone. I found Shaka and instantly bought it and stopped my search. Their Yellowstone tour is super thorough and has wonderful history stories throughout. It allows you to skip parts easily and tells you about spots you may have missed if you didn’t use this guide! I highly recommend this tour and I plan on using this app for more tours in the future. Even the music is catchy!
