Best Time to Visit

A tranquil tree-lined brick pathway winds through Schiller Park in German Village, Columbus, Ohio, on a bright summer day. Tall mature trees with full green canopies create a shaded, dappled light effect over a well-maintained lawn. A lamppost is faintly visible along the path in the middle distance, and red brick buildings are partially glimpsed through the trees on the right edge.Shutterstock Image

The best time to go is anytime! The brick streets and sidewalks can be more difficult to navigate in the winter, due to the difficulty involved in clearing snow, but the neighborhood is gorgeous, covered in snow and lit up for Christmas.

Summers can get hot and muggy, but seeing the gardens and parks at their greenest is a treat.

Spring might be best because of all the blooms.

Fall, while still beautiful, is probably the worst as the neighborhood is at its most drab - but there are fall and Halloween festivities!

Safety Information
