What you spend depends on the activities you do, but here’s a list of entry fees on the tour: 

There’s no entry fee to visit the preserve, but there are some tour stops that require a fee. Those are included below: 

  • Shark Valley - $35 (plus tram admission)
  • Miccosukee Indian Village - $25
  • Skunk Ape Headquarters - $12 per person
  • Collier-Seminole State Park - $5 per vehicle more info

Big Cypress is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. 

Yes! The tour has two starting points:  eastbound from The Tamiami Trail (Highway 90), near Naples Florida and westbound from The Tamiami Trail (Highway 41), 20 miles west of Miami. If you’d like to join the tour en route, just make sure that you follow the numbers in chronological order from where you are starting from. If you don’t begin at one of the tour starting points you’ll miss a few stories, but you’ll still have a great experience. 

No, this tour is only available in one direction.
