The Oahu Grand Circle tour start in Waikiki was confusing; there aren't clear street signs everywhere; made 1 turn prematurely, figured it out a few blocks later, then the app took us back around! But once we got going, we had a good tour of the island. If we stopped at every stop, it would have taken more than 8 hours, especially if we swam or hiked;we skipped a few places. Rental car had to be back by 5; we left around 8:45, returned 4:45.

The North Shore Tour from Waikiki was fabulous, with great narration and lots of wonderful stops. I can’t wait to use the app again on another trip.

My sister and I decided to rent a car for our time in Waikiki so we would not be tethered to large group tours. When I found the Shaka guide, I was excited to use it but wasn’t 100% sure how it would work and how well it would work. From the second, I started my first tour I was blown away by how in depth the directions were, how entertaining and educational the stories were, and how delightful the presenter was. I would recommend this and will recommend this to everybody that I know that is heading to Hawaii and the other national parks. Thank you Shaka for making my Waikiki trip even better than what I thought it could be!

Great walking tour of Waikiki

Got the Oahu tour package and wasn’t disappointed. Did the grand circle tour and the Waikiki walking tour. Was very informative, great stories of the island, and awesome stops. Ended up going back to visit some spots another time the next day. Would highly recommend!!

Picked up their free walking tour of Waikiki on our last day in Hawaii. Wow, what a tour!! If you are renting a car, buy their complete island package and let SHAKA be your tour guide! We learned so much so quickly, an saw things we NEVER would have noticed (like Duke’s and surfboard alley!). ComeOn’ $25 is the cost of one breakfast in Hawaii.
