This was our first time on Kauai, and the Shaka Kauai Audio Tour Guide was a great supplement to our trip of 10 days. We bought the package of all 4 guides for Kauai and used it both when just driving around and also for 2 half-day trips (to Waimea Canyon & to the Kailua area). We learned so much about the island’s history and culture but also got great tips on restaurants. Would definitely recommend! Only critiques are that the app tends to close when using other apps on the phone & that it would be nice to have more songs on the soundtrack. Mahalo for making a great app!

Today was the first time we used the app. it took us places we had not visited previously on our many visits to Kauai. We used the Wailua Falls tour.. There was a lot of historical information included that we found very interesting. We will use other tours available.

The guide itself is very informative and entertaining. I recommended highly with one thought for improvement. I am on Kauai for two weeks and doing a lot of traveling back-and-forth. I am staying both in Poipu for a week and in Princeville for a week. The Kawaii app is broken down Into four different trips. This is fine if you’re taking four separate days and following each separate trip. What I have found is that because I’m traveling from Poipu sometimes to Lihue And sometimes further to the north such as going to Kapaa we’re going the other way towards Waimea. I have not been able to take full advantage of each specific trip. What would be great to have an entire island package so that no matter where I go I am getting the interesting info that is available on this app. As it stands, I have to pick one of the four tours and hopefully get something from it. I will eventually be using the Waimea tour as well as the North Shore tour specifically. With all the driving, I have been doing mostly what I end up listening to is beautiful Hawaiian music, which is a nice addition. I feel this could be so much more useful, interactive, and beneficial if I didn’t have to pick a specific route each time I’m in the car.

I used the guide for Maui Road to Hana on our last trip to Hawaii and absolutely loved it. Once we landed in Kauai, I purchased the Kauai package. We used the Waimea Canyon yesterday and enjoyed our trip so much. I really appreciated the heads up that the last lookout was closed, and we'd have to walk to it if we wanted to see it. The history, humor, and tips make this app so worth it. Highly recommend, and I'm looking forward to the rest of the driving tours while we are on the island.

Loved using the app for the Waimea Canyon tour. Fun stories and and history and music. Narration was helpful knowing when to get ready to make a stop and available facilities.
