Today was the first time we used the app. it took us places we had not visited previously on our many visits to Kauai. We used the Wailua Falls tour.. There was a lot of historical information included that we found very interesting. We will use other tours available.

We did three tours on Kauai - The Waimea Canyon, Wailua Valley, and Poipu & Koloa tours. Each was very well done, informative and worked well as an orientation to Kauai. They really helped us find all the sights we wanted to see. The application worked great as well. I would highly recommend these to anyone!

My husband and I took a long awaited trip to Hawaii. We spent 5 days on the big island and then 7 days on Kauai. Utilizing the Shaka guide app we explored many wonderful things that I think we would have missed. We really enjoyed the stories and music along the way as well. I will say that the Wailua Valley and waterfalls tour is missing one stop that we just happened upon and that is Sole Mates in Kappa’a town. This is a little family owned shoe store. What made it so special was that one of the owners taught us how to play the traditional Hawaiian game Kōnane We learned about this game and saw ancient ones in an old fishing village on the big island so it was fun to learn how to play it. Definitely add this stop to your tour it is well worth it!

The value of $30 for 4 trips along Kuai is an incredible value. The content is interesting, entertaining, and many times just pure comedy. I wish the navigation could be displayed on the car screen so I don’t have to look at my iPhone screen. There is a bug in the program. We will reach a mile stone on the route, a point on the map and the Shaka guide voice will come on, suddenly it will stop and then Shaka guide will start all over the same instructions. That happened on the Poipu trip and the Wailua Valley.

Excellent, we spent a week and thought we did everything. I decided let's try it on the last day. Boy wanted an adventure, and the history tied everything we had experienced and questioned what is a “heiau” was all answered. I’m 100% sold!

We rented a car and used this app to see sights on Kauai. We went to Waimeau Canyon, Poipu, Wailua waterfalls, Napali coast and the Kauai Coffee Company. The narrator was great. He spoke nice and slowly, gave lots of info, especially with places to park and use restrooms. GOS navigation was on target 90% of the time. We learned lots and enjoyed the relaxing tours!
