The tour was awesome. We first learned about the Shaka guide in Maui when someone recommended it for the road to Hana. That was great and so was this tour. Even if you planned out your visit here, this guide is a great add on to learn even more and to make sure you don’t miss any great stops. I bought the tour for California and I am so looking forward to the other tours and parks. This is a great app and great tours. Worth every penny.

I used Shaka Guide while in Maui to drive the road to Hana. I can't speak highly enough of this app! The tour was perfect, with excellent directions and information. I had no problems at all. I also really loved the audio for the way back from Hana, which told the story of Hawaii's history. I looked forward to each new piece of the story. Anyway, if you rented a car for your trip, save the money you would've spent on paying for a tour and do this instead. Highly enjoyable, customizable, and worth the small fee to buy the downloads.

I’ve done the road to Hana a few times and this has by far been my favorite experience thanks to Shaka Guide! We learned so many new things and explored so many new places we never knew existed before simply because of the guided tour. Thank you Shaka guide for making the absolute best of our experience!

I don’t usually leave reviews, but this one is totally worth it. The Classic Road to Hana tour on the Shaka Guide app made our trip so easy, safe, and enjoyable. The narrator is engaging and warm. It really feels like you have a friendly local in the car with you, guiding you along the way. What I loved most was how the guide gave just enough info about each stop so we could decide if we wanted to pull over or just enjoy the view from the car. It took all the guesswork out of the drive—especially since there is little to no reception along the way. On the way back from Hana, there were great stories about the island’s history and the music in between added a nice vibe to the ride. I especially appreciated the history and stories shared throughout the tour—they really added depth to the experience. I would have loved even more about Native Hawaiian culture along the way, and I hope future updates continue to build on that. Overall, the tour was fantastic and I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone driving the Road to Hana. It made the day so much more memorable and fun!
