We used the Shaka Guide for our Hawaii vacation and absolutely loved it. The audio tours are very informative and entertaining and the music selection is fun and relaxing. Using your gps location to guide you to interesting stops while sharing local history and fun storytelling is brilliant. I especially appreciated the way it guided us to the starting point of the tour from our hotel. The helpful tips about where to fill up with gas, stop for food and restrooms was also very helpful. Well worth the price and would highly recommend. Especially if driving the Road to Hana.

The Shaka Guide has truly given our family trips an additional level of enjoyment. From the stories to the trails to the food places, and don’t forget the history lessons. If you are on the fence wondering if it’s worth it, and you are reading this - get it! You will not be disappointed. We were traveling with family in multiple cars and we all had the Shaka guide for Yellowstone and it was fun to stop at different places and say “wasn’t that story cool” or “I had no idea we were driving IN a caldera”. We found some amazing side quests that honestly we would have skipped if not for Shaka. Learning about the history of Yellowstone while driving through Yellowstone gives an extra appreciation for its land and its existence. Thank you Shaka!

We bought the whole Hawaii package of guides since we planned to use a couple, and it was well worth the price. The road to Hana was especially a rewarding experience with our Shaka guide in tow. We downloaded the package before departure and it remained flawlessly synced on the way out and back. The music, the stories, and the clear declaration of the must see sites helped us make the most of our time. We used it again on Maui west side and a couple more routes in Kauai. We can’t recommend Shaka guides enough!

The Shaka Guide is an excellent audito tour guide and shows all the wonderful points in the various trips. I used Shaka Guide for Road to Hāna, Haleakalā National Park and Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. It will take you to different points and tell you the details. It gives you step by step directions to view each and every point and also suggests any points that you could give a miss or are a must do. It really helped us during these 3 trips.

Highly recommend this app for first timers or return riders. Downloaded it kind of last second for road to Hana and the whole car really enjoyed the tips and history it gave. I think it gave us a better trip than we could’ve planned on our own. Even when we go back, I think we’ll play it again!

Used the Shaka Guide for my trip to Oahu, HI. I did a few tours - North Shore, Honolulu downtown, Windward, and small part of the Island circle. It was exceptional experience and the app helped us explore the whole island with little to no previous reading and planning. Highly recommend the Shaka Guide and would certainly buy and use it for future trips.
